Full assessment of Endometriosis

Our centre offers a comprehensive assessment of Endometriosis, including a thorough physical examination and diagnostic tests such as ultrasound and MRI. This allows us to accurately diagnose and stage the condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

Stage Endometriosis

We offer diagnostic laparoscopy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows us to diagnose and stage endometriosis. This procedure is done under general anaesthesia and involves making small incisions in the abdomen and inserting a laparoscope to view the pelvic organs

Counselling Services

We understand that Endometriosis can have a significant emotional and psychological impact on patients and their families. Our centre offers counselling services to support our patients and help them cope with their condition

Multi-disciplinary approach to the management of Endometriosis

Our centre takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of Endometriosis, working closely with other specialists such as gynaecologists, surgeons, pain management experts, psychologists and physiotherapists to provide the best possible outcome for our patients.

Laparoscopic Excision of Endometriosis

We also offer Laparoscopic Excision of Endometriosis, a surgical procedure that involves the removal of Endometriosis lesions using laparoscopic instruments. This procedure is done under general anaesthesia and allows for minimal invasive surgery.

How do we treat Endometriosis?

We have developed a multidisciplinary approach to treating this disorder.

The team of specialist consists of Lead Laparoscopic Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgeon, Adolescent/Paediatric Gynaecologist, Urologist, Pain Specialist, Psychologist and or Psychiatrists and access to fertility services.

We treat Mild, Moderate and Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis which is the most complex form of Endometriosis, Ovarian Endometrioma and Peritoneal Disease.

These cases are treated by Laparoscopic excision of Endometriosis where all visible Endometriosis is cut out (excised) and the patient’s symptoms should improve.
